Kids Robotics Program Curriculum Plan
Age Group: 5 to 10 years
Frequency: Twice a week
Duration: Year-long, continuous learning
Methodology: Fun and Learn with hands-on activities, play-based learning using DIY kits, STEM Lego Robotics Kits, and STEM Science Kits.
Key Objectives:
- Build foundational robotics and STEM knowledge through hands-on exploration.
- Develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative innovation skills.
- Encourage curiosity and a love for science, engineering, and robotics.
- Prepare kids for advanced robotics projects when they turn 10 and above.
- Create a continuous engagement model with diverse, new kits added regularly.
Program Structure:
Each week consists of two sessions, each lasting 1.5–2 hours, blending structured lessons, hands-on activities, and free exploration.
The curriculum will cover:
- Introduction to Robotics Concepts: Basics of robotics, sensors, motors, and simple programming concepts.
- Hands-on Kit Exploration: Building various robots and machines with Lego Robotics Kits and STEM Science Kits.
- Thematic Challenges and Competitions: Weekly/bi-weekly mini-competitions to make learning fun and rewarding.
- STEM Foundations: Focus on engineering, physics, and math concepts related to robotics.
- Soft Skill Development: Collaboration, communication, and teamwork through group projects.
